The hybrid online program consists of taking classes online within a 2–3-week timeframe; laboratory training at our training facility and clinicals in a healthcare setting. The laboratory training usually takes place on a designated weekend at our training facility. Clinicals take place during the week and usually require two full days. The benefit of the hybrid online program is that it allows you to take the classroom portion of the training at your own pace within a 2–3-week timeframe. The content is also interactive and can be reviewed if you missed something. Once you have completed this course, you will have been taught all the skills and training that is needed for employment at a hospital, nursing home, assisted living, and/or home care settings.
The Process
Self-paced learning – Students will first complete X hours of online training required prior to in-classroom dates. Access to the online material will be granted soon after registration. Those who do not complete the online portion will not be allowed into the in-person sessions and must reschedule
Classroom learning / lab – after completing the online portion of the class, students will attend x hours of classroom training, including skills testing and supervised practicals.
After successful completion of steps 1 and 2, students may apply for employment and/or register for the state exam for licensure. All information for state testing will be provided after your course.
